What to Expect
Welcome Weekend is the culmination of your Orientation experience and is an essential part of your first year at Adelphi University! All new Panthers should plan to attend starred sessions () as they contain important information to ensure your success at Adelphi. In addition to these educational and informative sessions, check out our game shows, meet and greets, and social activities to start finding your Panther crew!

For each event you attend and check in at, you’ll earn your PAL group the corresponding number of points listed below. Commuter Assistant Meet & Greet

The First-Year Commuter Assistant program is a free program that pairs first-year students with seasoned commuter leaders during their first year. Your CA serves as a resource to all things Adelphi, and you can text, call or email your CA with questions! If you signed up for the First-Year Commuter Assistant program on MyAULife already, your Commuter Assistant will email you the Zoom link to meet them and the fellow commuters in your group. If you haven’t signed up for a Commuter Assistant for this year and would like one, please click the link to learn more about the program and be paired to a Commuter Assistant.

Calling all Commuters! Join your commuter peers in a fun detective virtual scavenger hunt! Whether your group is across town, across the country, or across the world, Partners in Crime will deliver a challenging experience that is a ton of FUN! Teamwork, strategy, and working within each player’s skill set are vital requirements of this Virtual Scavenger Hunt. Winning team will receive a prize!
Resident Assistant Program: Battle of the Buildings

Calling all Residential Students! Team up with your peers in your building and participate in a fun detective virtual scavenger hunt! Partners in Crime will deliver a challenging experience that is a ton of FUN! Teamwork, strategy, and working within each player’s skill set are vital requirements of this Virtual Scavenger Hunt. The winning building will receive a prize! Please pre-register by August 25th to participate. All students who registered by 8/25 will receive an email with a link to access the event.
