This presentation is a tool to shed light on the new environment and process that many Students of Color may experience. By providing opportunities and solutions to challenges that you may face, we hope to give you helpful tips to assist you with navigating Higher Education.

Keep Calm and Write On: Inside the College Essay

Learn what admissions counselors look for in a well written college application essay. You’ll be told the tips and tricks to writing a good essay, as well as the common pitfalls students run into.

LGBTQ+ Students and the College Process

Adelphi University’s LGBTQ+ and Allies Committee works to build acceptance of our LGBTQ+ community on campus. Join Associate Director Michael Cartusciello, as he discusses the dialogue between students and faculty that we facilitate to build respect and support across campus, and provide a forum for LGBTQ+ students to meet, share their experiences, and support one another.
